Traditions and religious Books in JudaismThere are five main writings in Judaism. Torah: the law of god reveled to Mosses and one of the first five books there is also and oral Torah. Midrash: is a large body of rabbinical material that it is made primary from sermons (Religious Facts, 2015). Responsa: a collection of specific answers to questions on the Jewish law. Septuagint: the Greek translation of the Hebrew bible before the time of Jesus Christ. Zohar: the central text from Kabbalah, a mystical branch in Judaism (Chad, 2006).
